FROM "FIELD OF DREAMS" TO THE KALAHARI ON 116TH ST

That giant lot on 116th between Malcolm X Blvd and 5th Ave. next to 1400 on the Fifth will be The Kalahari, a huge development which will include a theater and storefronts. The "Field Of Dreams" baseball park for the kids was destroyed to make way for this project. Will the "affordable luxury apartments be made with the common cardboard walls and cheap material like all Harlem new buildings? Probably.
